Armour Artillery and Infantry Fire Fights and Battles

Introducing the Infantry Artillery and Tank Combat series

Armour Publishing Ltd specialises in books that recount the battles of World War Two at a fire fight and battle level from the perspective of the soldiers who fought in them and recorded the action in war diaries, reports and interviews. There will eventually be sixteen volumes in the Infantry Artillery and Tank Combat series.

Email: director@armourpublishing.co.uk

Each volume is heavily based on original primary reference material and a few reliable secondary sources providing the ground level view of the Infantry, the AFV, Gun and OP crews whose accounts are included alongside their unit War Diaries. Accounts from the Royal Engineers, the Royal Army Service Corps and Royal Army Ordnance Corps are also included wherever possible to give greater background to events.

The accounts and narrative are supported by maps, and previously unpublished photographs wherever possible - it is not intended to reproduce already well known photographs.

Each volume will include detailed descriptions and data of the weapons and ammunition used, as well as armour (including hardness, malleability, thicknesses and inclination (obliquity)) and armour penetration information from sources including field tests against captured AFVs.

The sixteen volumes will eventually cover North Africa, Sicily, Italy and North-West Europe.

Armour Publishing Ltd has no connection with any companies outside of the United Kingdom trading under the name Armour Publishing (whether Ltd or otherwise established).
